Forty years of the Nordic Choral Society of Japan (1962-2002)

Inspired by a beautiful book of a songs from Scandinavia, a small group of singers started to study and sing Nordic folk and art songs.
To understand better what we are singing, we made it a point to study the languages, unfamiliar to us at first. It served to bring us closer to the Nordic world and people.
The highlight in the history of the choir was the concert tours to the Nordic countries, carried out five times from 1968 to 1999.
